YOGYAKARTA – BROMO – IJEN

After breakfast driver to the Yogyakarta City for Sightseeing visiting Keraton (Sultan's Palace), Water Castle, Batik Home Industry and Silversmith at Kotagede with its processing and beautiful collections. Lunch at local restaurant then after lunch proceed to visit Prambanan temple, the most important Hindu temple built on compound IX century by the three temples dedicated to Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu. Prambanan is a ten-century old Hindu temple. This temple is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva, locally called Candi Loro Jonggrang, which means 'slender virgin’. Next visit Candi Sewu located next to prambanan temple and late afternoon drive you to purawisata to having dinner and cultural performance of Ramayana ballet. Finish the tour by transfer back to you hotel in Yogyakarta.

Pick up by your guide at lobby hotel at 08.00 and then followed by transfer for full day Dieng Plateau and Borobudur. Tour visit the magical temple of Borobudur, the largest Buddhist temple in Indonesia that was built in 9th century. This huge Buddhist pyramid is the largest Buddhism shrine in Indonesia. From your guide you can learn the Buddha philosophy by exploring the relief on Borobudur temple. Then you will continue to visit Dieng Plateau, you will explore the Arjuna temple, a complex of Hindu temple built in early 7thcentury and well known as the oldest Hindu temple in Indonesia. Then continue to visit Sikidang crater, one of several craters in Dieng plateu that is most active, and the Lake Warna (Color Lake), an exquisitely beautiful lake ranged by highland forest, the water color is turquoise and cobalt hues from the amount of sulfur reflected by the sunlight. On your way to Dieng or on your way back, you will see the beauty of countryside, fresh mountain wind and the plantation of coffee, tea, tobacco and other crops. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Return to Hotel.

Early breakfast at hotel, then drive to Tugu station and take a morning train to Mojokerto Station by air-conditioned train (Sancaka Train, morning, 06.55 - 10.32), it will takes around 4 hours. Arrive at Mojokerto at noon and continue with driving for about 3 hours to Bromo area. Lunch at local restaurant on route. Check in to your hotel and enjoy free time at your own leisure and meals on your personal account.

You will be wake up at 03.00 o'clock in, have a cup of coffee or tea before we leave for drive by car to closest meeting point to Bromo and change the car into 4WD jeep for 40 minutes driving to Pananjakan, the highest viewpoint in the area to see the sun rise. But, of course, whether you are able to see the sunrise depends on the weather conditions. Then we will descend to Sea of Sand to see the crater of mount Bromo. Afterwards we go back to the hotel to have breakfast. After having breakfast and taking a bath in hotel then Leaving to Probolinggo to visit Madakaripura waterfall located in Sapih village, Lombang district, and it is not far from Bromo area. Madakaripura is a sacred visiting area comprising lines of waterfalls where its center reaches a height of 200 meters from the bottom. This spectacular waterfall lies hidden at the end of a deep valley in the foothills of the Tengger range. The water has cascades from the dense forest above. The primary attraction is its natural environment that is encircled by 7 waterfalls and caves. Lunch on route. Continue drive to Banyuwangi close to Ijen and stay overnight.

We rise very early for our Mt. Ijen (2,400 m) excursion. This volcano offers a savannah landscape, ruggedly beautiful panoramas, grand hiking, and a placid, brightly yellow crater-lake. Near the summit of Mt. Ijen is a gorgeous crater filled with a haunting turquoise-blue lake with its surface streaked in the wind blown patterns of yellow sulfur vapor. By the crater-lake edge, there is evil smelling sulfur, where local people dig and carrying 60-70kgs on their bare shoulders for 2 miles ascending and descending the steep Mt. Ijen slopes. Afterward rejoin your car and drive back to the hotel. At checkout time, drive to the harbor of Ketapang for ferry crosses to Bali Island, directly transfer to your hotel in Bali. ------- End of service.
